This Costco, completed in 110 days, was the first warehouse to have the new Ductilcrete slab.
This new style of concrete slab on grade floor requires less saw cut joints, making for a more durable slab. Construction of this facility required 3,300 stone columns at 26-feet deep under the building and 500 stone column at the fuel facility. The project required seven feet of structural fill due to construction of the facility on a pond.
This eight island fuel facility is capable of servicing 16 cars at one time. It is covered by a 2,800 SF canopy with fuel stored in three double walled fiberglass storage tanks buried underground.
