The Vancouver School District hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Peter S. Ogden Elementary project today. Many showed up to support the event including Robinson Construction Co., LSW Architects, students, and the community. Construction is set to start next week and be completed for the 2019 school year. We are excited to be a part of this community project. Go Cougars!
RCC joins OAME to support, promote and develop entrepreneurship and economic development for ethnic minorities in the State of Oregon & SW Washington. This association is a collection of entrepreneurs, public agencies, partner non-profits and large businesses. The mission is directed toward eliminating discrimination and racism.
The Oregonian/OregonLive honored 100 employers in Oregon and southwest Washington during the sixth annual Top Workplaces competition. Robinson Construction Co. received an award for their fourth consecutive year. We are very proud and excited to receive this award for another year!
The California Preservation Design Awards is a statewide hallmark, showcasing preservation design excellence by 21 firms and individuals. The California Preservation Foundation celebrates and recognizes exemplary work in historic preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, sustainability, studies, reports and other significant categories in the preservation field through the Preservation Design Awards.

RCC and Lowe’s came together earlier this month and donated new basketball hoops for the kids at the Boys and girls Club in Kahului, HI. To celebrate there was a friendly game of basketball between the kids and adults from the near by Lowe’s project. Other improvements included new court striping and indoor floor rejuvenation. It was a great day to spend with the kids and the community playing ball and having cake.
BRUSH PRAIRIE — Students in Hockinson Middle School’s science, technology, engineering and math classes were taken outside to the construction site of the district’s replacement middle school on Friday to see first hand some of the topics they cover in class.

Robinson Construction Co. has received a Leadership in Risk Control Award from CNA, the seventh largest U.S. commercial insurance carrier. Randy, Ryan and Chris Robinson received the award at at their OSHA 10 training session on June 17, 2016.
