RCC Joins Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs

RCC joins OAME to support, promote and develop entrepreneurship and economic development for ethnic minorities in the State of Oregon & SW Washington.  This association is a collection of entrepreneurs, public agencies, partner non-profits and large businesses. The mission is directed toward eliminating discrimination and racism.

RCC Awarded Oregon Top Workplace for the Fourth Consecutive Year!

The Oregonian/OregonLive honored 100 employers in Oregon and southwest Washington during the sixth annual Top Workplaces competition.  Robinson Construction Co. received an award for their fourth consecutive year.  We are very proud and excited to receive this award for another year!


New Mission Theatre Wins a 2017 Preservation Design Award

The California Preservation Design Awards is a statewide hallmark, showcasing preservation design excellence by 21 firms and individuals.  The California Preservation Foundation celebrates and recognizes exemplary work in historic preservation, restoration, rehabilitation, sustainability, studies, reports and other significant categories in the preservation field through the Preservation Design Awards.

New Basketball Hoops at the Boys and Girls Club in Maui

RCC and Lowe’s came together earlier this month and donated new basketball hoops for the kids at the Boys and girls Club in Kahului, HI.  To celebrate there was a friendly game of basketball between the kids and adults from the near by Lowe’s project.  Other improvements included new court striping and indoor floor rejuvenation.  It was a great day to spend with the kids and the community playing ball and having cake.



Robinson Construction Co. Receives the CNA Leadership and Safety Award

CNA_Award_2016Robinson Construction Co. has received a Leadership in Risk Control Award from CNA, the seventh largest U.S. commercial insurance carrier. Randy, Ryan and Chris Robinson received the award at at their OSHA 10 training session on June 17, 2016.

Robinson Construction Co. strongly believes in the importance of accident prevention and creating a safe work environment, both for our customers and employees,” said Randy Robinson, President. “We are pleased to have our efforts acknowledged by CNA.”

Robinson Construction Co. has taken a proactive approach to a safer work environment and product safety issues by educating themselves about common risks in their industry, identifying problem areas in advance and then implementing the necessary steps to help prevent an accident or business disruption from occurring,” said Andrew Hall, Branch Vice President., CNA. “We consider Robinson Construction Co. to be an industry role model with regard to these important workplace and product issues.”

Lowe’s of Kahului Breaks Ground This Week!

BlessingRobinson Construction Co. broke ground this week with a spiritual blessing for the new Lowe’s Home Improvement store along Pakaula Street at the Maui Business Park.

The new store will be the “Taj Mahal” of all Lowe’s stores because it will be the company’s newest and feature more products and displays.

The new store is 22 percent larger at 94,000 square feet compared to the existing Maui store of 77,000 square feet.  Lowe’s has been at the current location of Maui Marketplace since 1999 and the new store is only moving a short distance down the road.  Lowe’s will be one of the anchor stores for the Marketplace.

The new Lowe’s will have LED lights and other modern features and provide customers with approximately 400 parking stalls.

Construction work on the new Lowe’s store is the latest development in Kahului’s new commercial development.
