Value Engineering

Robinson’s team is responsible for ensuring that the design documents align with the district’s budget and vision. We perform value engineering analysis at different stages of the design phase to identify cost and time-saving opportunities while maintaining the district’s vision. This process is necessary to make sure that we stay within the budget that has been set.

The Robinson team will perform value engineering analyses at key milestones during the design phase, including the 10%, 50%, and 90% design reviews. Value engineering analysis considers various factors that impact value, including operating costs, life-cycle costs, and owner-supplied equipment. The team stays up-to-date with the latest construction facets, processes and materials to build cost-saving benefits into the project before the completion of construction documents. Overall, the team aims to provide the best long-term value for the district.
